Meet the Editors

Frankie and Sari met in the year of our lord (Cthulu) 2015, in the UK. They were both duped by the same drama school into thinking they would be studying in London, when they were in fact actually set to study in Essex. Codependency bloomed quickly in the rich soil of being jaded 20-somethings. Since then, they have made theatre together (derogatory), travelled to some of the worst places in the world, and generally lived at least one timezone apart from one another for the past decade. And yet, through all these trials and tribulations, they have remained steadfast friends.

Frankie Regalia is a writer, storyteller, and playwright from California, currently based in Scotland. She has won awards for her work, the most prestigious being the one she forced her mom to make which reads "Mommy's Funny Baby." She has several university degrees, none of which are worth the paper they are printed on (let alone the amount she paid for them) because they are in the arts. She enjoys cats, books, and those three weeks of the year when it’s sunny in Glasgow.

Sari is just a guy born to Lebanese-Russian parents. He has some overpriced degrees in theatre which he thought would be useful despite his father's protestations and suggestions to open a pharmacy, which in retrospect would have been a great idea. After trying to make theatre in Beirut and hating all the funding avenues (fuck you, Ford Foundation) he got exasperated and decided to study whatever was free and in English in Berlin, it turned out to be History. He is now begrudgingly pursuing his PhD in the stupidest thing he can think of hoping he can make it sound smart enough for the German government to give him a visa. He has awards for Most Cigarettes Smoked in One Sitting (2009-2024).
